Xytel was invited to participate in and present at the 10th eChem Expo Solution Marketplace & Technology Innovations Conference in Kingsport, TN on April 5, 2018. Its focus was a multidisciplinary gathering for applied innovations at the plant level. At the conference, Xytel’s Project Manager Dylan Nass presented on modular construction as well as the company as a whole.
Covering the basics of modular construction, the presentation describes it as skids built off site in controlled environments while still utilizing the same material, codes, and standards as traditional constructions. Also covered in the presentation are some of the key advantages of modular construction; namely significant time savings, 80% less downtime, reduced costs, flexible construction, and a turn-key system. Along with the topic of modular construction, the presentation also covered the construction process and services offered by Xytel.
